James Ukrainetz was born in Preeceville Sask. on July 3, 1930. He passed away March 15, 2009 after suffering with cancer for the last few years and was sadly stricken with a massive heart attack.
James was a labour worker, in mills, as well as security.
James is survived by two sisters, Laura Derish (Pete), Loretta Toth (Joe), five children Lorraine Petrie (Gary), Darrell Ukrainetz (Katya), Gerald Ukrainetz, Alvin Ukrainetz (Bernadett), Lee-Anne Peever (Robyn), grandchildren, Lisa, Christinia, Brian, Jill, Roseanna, Jessie, Dustin, Tyrell, Braedon, Nathan and ten great grandchildren.
James, loved ponies and going to gymkhana events. He had a great love for the fiddle, he collected several and enjoyed playing with friends. As a good dancer, he would enjoy dancing to the old time music.
He will be sadly missed by his family and friends
