I am researching my grandmother's family. Her name was Theresa SCHMIDT. She was b. 20 Nov 1909. The family stories connect the SCHMIDT family with Regina, Saskatchewan, so I'm guessing at grandma's birthplace. By 1926, the SCHMIDT family had moved to Onaway, Michigan. Theresa (aka Daisy) m. May 1927 to Willard P. O'MEARA in Alma, Michigan. She d. 15 Jul 1930 in Alma, MI. She and Willard had two children. Their son is my father.
My father has almost no memories of his mother. He was only 2-1/2 years old when she died. He doesn't even remember his SCHMIDT grandparents.
Theresa SCHMIDT's parents were Jacob SCHMIDT and Louise (unknown).
I am hoping that someone out there can help me fill in the blanks on the family tree, and help me give my some knowledge of his mother's family.
