http://www.ourroots.ca/e/page.aspx?id=580450 - has lots of info! In summary: John was the fourth son of Charles Harrison, left home at 14, worked in Liverpool shipyards until he was 18, when he got a chance to head to Canada. Worked his way westwards until he got to Swift Current, where he filed for a homestead in the Nadeauville area. Annie had six brothers and sisters to care from, from the age from fourteen (when her mother died). She and a friend emigrated to Canada when Annie was 18, and Annie came to Swift Current to work for Chief Constable McIntosh. They were married July 14, 1915, in Tompkins - the first couple to marry in the Anglican church there. The same year, John's family came over from England. After WWI, they moved south from Nadeauville to Tompkins. http://www.ourroots.ca/e/page.aspx?id=580490 - this mention of Eva Harrison may refer to one of John's sisters - says her parents were Charles and Emily and they came to Canada in 1915 which matches with the info about John's family.
