Maureen If you first go to the following site and plug in the land description you gave before, I believe its 6 possibilties come up. http://www.saskhomesteads.com/search.asp they all have file numbers. Then when you go to the other site I gave you and you email, you could also give them that number. When I said "name" I meant the name of the land owner your looking for. They are excellent people at The Provincial Archives and they will have a look and let you know what they have for that person, and the cost of copying any information and mailing charges. They are very reasonably priced. If the person your looking for was a non British subject and they have his homestead file, you may even get lucky and get some citizenship papers in that file, some have a bit, others not. good luck Donnask Notify Administrator about this message?
