Hello Christiane! I am so happy to hear from you! Am very much interested in learning more about you and your Grandfather. My grfather was Gustav from Lodz,as was his father Ludwig and brothers Richard, Rudolph and Alfred. Gustav immigrated to Rosthern Saskatchewan in June of 1905, and the others came later. When and where did yours come to? Do you know where he was born? I ask because a lady from Germany who has a Friedenstab Great-grandmother is also interested in finding our families. My father was born in Rosthern in 1910 and came to Michigan at the age of ten. Yes, do write to me and we can find out that we're cousins! In family searching, Florence
