Help with finding 1884 marriage in Battl

St Boniface Church records state that there
was a marriage at St Vital RC Church .
Prince Albert Chancery Office states it cannot find the marriage 1881 - 1889.
Did the Province of Saskatchewan have a
marriage registry in 1884 and if so how would I go about getting a copy of this marriage.
Amable St GERMAIN married Justine BELANGER/
KINAKEWICH a member of the Ochopowace Band
in 1884
Can anyone help me on this matter please.
