Grave's Settlement in Neuville, Portneuf Quebec 1841 Census

Hello,

What is the Grave's Settlement in Cap Sante, Porteuf, Neuville, Quebec? My 4th great grandfather, Patrick Slattery, is listed in the 1842 census, along with Stephen Slattery. I believe these two men to be brothers.

Patrick Gorman is also listed in the 1842 census in Grave's Settlement. His daughter Margaret married Patrick Slattery's son John.

The other thing I have noticed about this settlement, is that there are a great many families who have ties to County Kerry, Ireland.

Any help appreciated! Thank you so much, Liz
