Hi Claire,

Their marriage is in the Drouin collection. Here is the indexed entry.

Quebec, Vital and Church Records (Drouin Collection), 1621-1967 about Andre Phalmar
Name:       Andre Phalmar
Spouse:       Marie Madeleine Marie
Event Year:       1759-1791
Event:       Mariage (Marriage)
Religion:       Catholique
Place of Worship or Institution:       Les Cèdres (St-Joseph-de-Soulanges)
Province:       Québec

I found the writing to be somewhat hard to read but will give you what I can make out. Perhaps you will have more luck if you look at it yourself. I am assuming you have access as you mentioned not finding the name in Drouin.

I am having a hard time reading the date of the marriage. I just tried to make out name of their parents for you.

It looks like Andres parents were Jacques Phalmar and ...........Finlay ( or Hinlay/Linlay) ?

Marie Madeleine's parents look like Lorenze Marier and Marie Anne Letrohe.

I have to say I am not absolutely sure of these names as they are very hard to read. If you cannot access the record let me know and I can email it to you.

There is also a baptism record for Genevieve Phalmar which is also hard to read but I can make out that one of the sponsors was Marie Anne Lataske ?, grandmother of the infant. So that name matches closely with Marie Madeleine's mother.

Quebec, Vital and Church Records (Drouin Collection), 1621-1967 about Genevieve Phalmar
Name:       Genevieve Phalmar
Event Year:       1759-1791
Event:       Naissance (Birth)
Religion:       Catholique
Place of Worship or Institution:       Les Cèdres (St-Joseph-de-Soulanges)
Province:       Québec

Here is indexed entry for marriage of Michel and Genevieve

Quebec, Vital and Church Records (Drouin Collection), 1621-1967 about Michel Jams
Name:       Michel Jams
Spouse:       Genevieve Falmard
Event Year:       1787-1795
Event:       Mariage (Marriage)
Religion:       Catholique
Place of Worship or Institution:       Pierrefonds (Ste-Geneviève)
Province:       Québec

In the image entry Michel is Michel Jams fit Carriere. Genevieve is shown as Falmard, father Andre, mother Marie Magdeleine Marier.

Again if you cannot find it in Drouin I can email the image to you.

There is a second marriage for Genevieve to Guillaume Bregue

Quebec, Vital and Church Records (Drouin Collection), 1621-1967 about Genevieve Falmard
Name:       Genevieve Falmard
Spouse:       Guillaume Bregue
Event Year:       1821
Event:       Mariage (Marriage)
Religion:       Catholique
Place of Worship or Institution:       St-Eustache (St-Eustache)
Province:       Québec

She is shown as widow of Michel Jams dit Carriere

This looks likely for burial of Michel

Quebec, Vital and Church Records (Drouin Collection), 1621-1967 about Michel Geamme
Name:       Michel Geamme
[Michel Jamme Carrière]
[Michel Jammes]
Event Year:       1818
Event:       Enterrement (Burial)
Religion:       Catholique
Place of Worship or Institution:       St-Eustache (St-Eustache)
Province:       Québec

I hope this helps a bit. I did not find marriages for parents of Andre or Marie Madeleine

Carolyn L
