Thanks so much for the info. I have some records of St. Michel, but not enough...Would you kindly look to see if Avila's older brother is there too? He went be the name of Samuel Perry here in the USA. and he was born Nov of 1836 in Quebec (This is all I have on him...other than his parents were Antoine and Elisabeth. I have found older siblings, but have never found anything on Samuel....Perhaps another name change? He and Avila came to the USA abt. 1852 and lived all their lives in Massena, New York (Just accross the border) Many thanks for your help..........Marj
BTW..also am a descendant of Jean Gagnon and Marguerite Cauchon...are these yours?
