I am trying to find the ancestry of a M. (Marie or Marguerite) Henriette Trempe who married Leon Patenaude on May 30, 1825 at St. Luc Parish, Quebec. According to the marriage record, her parents were Francois Trempe and Marguerite Germain.

I am hoping to go back in history to find a marriage record and ancestry of Francois Trempe and Marguerite Germain.

There is a marriage record of an Antonie Piette-Trempe (Joseph Piette Trempe and Charlotte DuPuis) of Maskinonge and Marie Archange Germain-Belisle (Charles David Germain-Belisle and Marie Archange Neveu) in Berthier on April 22, 1811.

There is also a record of a Francois S. Joseph Piet-Trempes of Maskinonge (the son of Joseph Piete-Bellisle and Charlotte DuPuis) married Marguerite Archange Germain-Bellisle (the daughter of Charles David Germain-Bellisle and M. Archange Neveu) on April 22, 1811.

But I can find any connection to these marriages.

Later, Leon Patenaude and Francois Trempe (Trompe) appear on the records of Grand Island, Vermont.
