I am including typical translations of a birth/baptism record and one of a marriage to give you an idea of the pattern followed. If the insertion does not work, I could attach them to an email once I get your email address. Not sure I can read it correctly from your request.

The godfather has been Jean-Baptiste (?)Legrand, the godmother, Genevieve Halle, who have stated not being to sign their names.

EXTRACTED FROM THE REGISTRY OF THE PARISH OF ST-HENRI DE LAUZON
On the fourth day of August of the year one thousand eight hundred and twenty seven, after the publication of three banns of marriage, made at the masses of the parish, between Augustin Huard, farmer, residing in this parish, son having attained his majority of the late Eustache Huard and of the late Josephte Robisson, his father and mother of St-Joseph de la Pointe Levy on the one part (and) Luce Hely dit Breton, residing in this parish, daughter under age (minor) of Pierre Hely dit Breton, farmer, and Genevieve Halle, her father and mother of this parish. We undersigned, given the agreement of the father of the bride (have) received the mutual agreement of the spouses and have given them the nuptial benediction in the presence of Rejean Gay (Guay) (a) friend, of Charles Huard, brother of the bride, of Pierre Hely Sr, of Joseph Hely, uncle of the bride and of several other parents and friends of the newlyweds. One has signed; the others, including the newlyweds, have stated not being able to sign their names.

Extracted from the registry of baptisms, marriages and deaths of the Parish of Ste-Julie, Mégantic Co., Province of Québec, for the year 1891.
On 27 September 1891, we priest undersigned have baptized Marie-Anne, born the previous day, daughter of the legitimate marriage of Étienne Gagné, farmer, and of Philomene Pageot of this parish. The godfather was Joseph Pouliot, son of Joseph Pouliot, farmer of Ste-Constance de Nelson, the godmother was Alice Gauvreau, daughter of Onésime Gauvreau, farmer of this parish, cousin of the child, the latter have signed with us. The father of the child has not been able to sign.

Marguerite Burnickey, St-Philippe d'Argenteuil, Québec, Canada
This 15th day of September of the year one thousand eight hundred and ninety, further to the announcement of two banns of marriage made during the sermon of our parish messes and an exemption having been granted by the relevant authority for the other bann, Maxime Mallette, voyageur, domiciled in this parish, who has attained his majority, son of Michel Mallette and of Angélina Rochon of this parish on one hand and Marguerite Burnickey, also domiciled in this parish, daughter under age of Alexandre Burnickey, voyageur and of Adéline Leblanc, also of this parish on the other hand, not having identified any objection to this marriage and given the concurrence of the parents of the girl underage, we priest undersigned, parish priest, having received the mutual agreement of marriage of the bride and groom have given them our nuptual benediction in the presence of Michel Mallette, father of the groom and Alexandre Burnickey, father of the bride, as well as the spouses of these two people and a few other relatives and friends who have stated not being capable of signing this record which was read to them.
