Presbyterian family I am almost positive not to be him.
Joseph according to a border crossing record I have found record his birth as Grand River Lot 14 PEI.
Sadly to say can not search for him in censuses prior to 1881 due to fact the 1871 census did not survive for area and the lot 14 section of 1861 census has also not survived.
Although on the 1863 Lake Map of PEI it records 4 McNeill families residing on Lot 14
A.McNeill, D.McNeill, J.McNeill and N. McNeill
