Hopegood farm

Jean Charles Aucoin dit John Wedge and his wife Rosalie Bernard were living at a place called the Hopegood Farm acording to the 1798 census with a grown family. Would like more info. on this hopegood farm, was Hopegood the name of the people that owned the land or was this the name of the farm? Where is it located and does the property exist today, are there any persons buried there, where was Jean Charles buried?
