Starting Sept. 5, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

If James Duffy b. ca. 1831 in the 1881 census is the correct one, then there was James Duffy b. Charlottetown 8NOV1831, bpt. the same day by Father B. D. McDonald in St. Dunstan's Basilica. He was the s/o Patrick and Sally (Steward) Duffy. Baptisms the same day are a bit unusual and suggests fears that the child may soon die.
