The 1881 US Federal census shows John E. Farmer, age 36, living in Boston with his wife Lavinia E.,age 27. Both are stated to be natives of Prince Edward Island , Canada. The record in PEI shows John, born June 17, 1847, baptized Vernon River, PEI, parents Felix and Nancy (or Ann McQuaid) Farmer. I would be interested in corresponding with any descendants, or otherwise interested parties.
