Seeking birth, marriage, death & burial records for Prior to 1861 NB Census, ABEL & FLORA were living in PEI where some children were born. EITHER MAY have been previously married. Also seeking birth records for their PEI born children between ca 1844 - 1860. Hariet {"step-daughter" age 17 in 1861 NB Census)}, John Edward, Mary Jane, Lucy Ann, Margaret Hanabery, and possibly births of 2 sons George Allen age 2 and Simon age 7 mos died in 1860 NB. Unsure where they were born, PEI or NB. ABEL EASTER alive in the 1891 Bass River, Kent Co, NB Census wife FLORA, presumably died shortly after the 1861 census as someone in the family was listed as 'sick & infirm'. Before the 1871 census, same place, Abel Married MARY SMITH presumably in Kent co. Both appear in the 1911 Census same place, in the household of son HERBERT EASTER. Evidence in the form of baptismal records (extracted by CLDS IGI Archives) & naming patterns in England seem to confirm that Abel Easter IS the youngest son of John and Lucy Easter, baptised 11/9/1823 Chediston, Suffolk, England. Surnames as spelled in Chediston Baptismal Records: He likely immigrated to PEI with brothers George Eastaugh, Edward Estaugh, William Eastoe, Samuel Eastoe. Notify Administrator about this message?
