James Herbert Wynne and Gertrude "Minnie" Moore are my husband's biological grandparents. I have been able to trace Minnie back to her ancestors in PEI and the immigrant family that arrived in Broad Bay, now Waldoboro, ME in 1742. J. Herbert Winn / Wynne is my brick wall. Minnie Gertrude Moore, (1885-1974) is the daughter of William George Moore and Priscilla Mutlow. SEEKING MARRIAGE RECORD to detemine Where & When {2/21/1911?] J Herbert Winn / Wynne and Minnie Gertrude Moore married. Their 1st child, Laura Helen was born abt 1911-1912, place unknown to me. By 1913, Herbert and Minnie were in Bangor Maine where their 2nd child was born. In 1919, they were still in the Bangor region, as their youngest child, Bernice Ethel Wynne was born in adjacent Brewer, ME. James Herbert Wynne retired from the Boston Chemical Co. in 1955, after working there for 30 years. Thus he started there about 1920. He and his family lived in Malden for most of those years. His death certificate dated 12/9/1957.,says he was born in N.B. Canada. He was 67 yrs old at death, thus born about 1890. "Parents unknown" The only person fitting this time frame in New Brunswick is James Herbert Winn, the grandson of Abel Easter, Weldford, Kent Co, NB. That is why I am focusing on obtaining info about that particular child. Is James Herbert Winn the same person as James Herbert Wynne? It is known by family members that J Herbert changed the spelling of his surname to WYNNE. Did Abel Easter have a daughter? Did she marry a man, surname WINN? Are they the parents of Ma[r]y A and James Herbert WINN? What happened to them? Why did they leave their children with her parents? Are there Marriage and/or Baptismal records in New Brunswick.? PEI? The census claimed the Easter family was Presbyterian, a good place to start. Where did Ma[r]y A WINN and J Herbert WINN go before the 1911 census of Weldford, Kent Co, NB ? They are not with their uncle, Herbert Easter & his family and grandfather, Abel. Any help in answering the questions that I have posed greatly appreciated. Notify Administrator about this message?
