I am searching for all the Sinclair from PEI. I have been looking for James/George Sinclair. He came to the island from Scotland about 1841, dont know his wife's name, sons James (a school teacher) John (a painter)and Robert (carriage maker) moved to Indiana and changed the spelling to St. Clair. Johanna/Joanna married a Hunter and one daughter was Annie Tuplin (have photo of her). I feel that if I find anyone with the name I may be able to find some of the family since the families were large. Dad James may be listed as J.P.George Sinclair, many seem to have called him Jamie but I James the schoolteacher had his father on the tombstone listed as George.
the dad is difficult to track down since his family in the 1860's early 70's to join a group of Scots headed to New Brunswick to start another Scotland.
