Looking for information on Lantry family of Charlottetown
Posted by: Patricia Shook (ID *****5289) Date: March 17, 2003 at 18:22:42

I'm looking for information on my ggrandmother's family. My ggrandmother was born in PEI in September of 1857. Her parents were Michael and Ellen Lantry. They were both born in Ireland; I don't know when they immigrated to Canada. My ggrandmother had at least one sister, Mary, as she and my gggrandmother Ellen appear in the 1881 census living in Charlottetown. By then, my ggrandmother Ellen had moved to Boston, MA and married Thomas H. Hanlon. If anyone can give me any information on what became of the Lantrys in PEI, I would greatly appreciate it.
