Well, Iowa Co., was where the head of the family died in 1868. He was James Jones who originally was born in 1774 in Wales?/England on River Eden Island (seems to be non-existant, but as winding as the Mississippi!) and I was on the River Eden. James was married to Ann Richards and some of their children have the Richards as a middlename. Based on the timeperiod that she was born, she would have been either a grandchild of James, or if it were one of his older children, a great-grand child.
I checked to see if Hudson is anywhere.... not in this time frame - married a Richardson.
I have 3 Jennies, but the closest was born abt. 1871 In Iowa Co., to Beriah Lorenzo Jones and Edith Coffman
