I am looking for any Long's from P.E.I.
1841 census shows a Long family, Roman Catholic. Father was from Ireland and mother born on the island. I beleive the census shows 5 children. My g-g-g-grandfather John Long (b. 1831 Emerald Junction, PEI) and his brother James (b.1839 on PEI) came to New Brunswick. I beleive the rest of the family remained on the island. My great aunt mentions in her notes that there were 2 sisters who married in Pendergast families. The N.B. census shows that my g,g,g,grandfather was of irish descent... sounds like this could be a fit for my Long's but don't have any access to any records.
Would appreciate any leads or information.
