McAuley and McAskill
Posted by: Gail McAuley (ID *****3384) Date: October 15, 2002 at 13:57:19

I am trying to clear up some confusion regarding the above. I have a James McAuley and a Nancy McAskill as well as a James McAuley and an Ann McAskill having children baptized at St. Bonaventure Catholic Church in the 1850's. I am trying to find out if Nancy and Ann are the same person. The births were all close together. My particular search is for a son, Michael. He gave his parents as James and Nancy when he married in Boston in 1885. However, St. Bonaventure has a Michael being born to James and Ann. Thank you.
