In Reply to: Info-Lots 54,55,18 MacNeill,MacEachern,McCormack by Scott M Connolly of 1052

These are transcribed from microfilm records of passenger Lists Arrivals by ship (alpha file) to Port of Boston 1848-1906. These are Canadian MAritime arrivals .... & as I can will supplement with some Ireland arrivals.

Some of these note traffic back & forth to PEI & NB, NS by the arrivals ... noting the pre-immigration travel.

These were culled from a large list as I searched for my great-grandfather Daniel F McCormack, PEI born .. but his dob is 1846 (this hits +2 years the 1868 arrival is approximate to his early 1870's start i Boston --also my ggf began a business in livery & lacksmithing)

Also many PEI'ers including a 17 year old McCormack John arrived as a fisherman .. may have worked their way down from the Banks with the busy American ships.

Hope this helps someone ..while I can look up I will send me a name or de ..& I'll post more as I can.
