In Reply to: Info-Lots 54,55,18 MacNeill,MacEachern,McCormack by Scott M Connolly of 1052

Referencing to you some names from the 1870 Boston Census Index ... foud as I was tarcing the lives of Michael McCormack's son Daniel F McCormack .. my great-grandfather who settled in Boston from PEI (1846 birth)

There are a few listed her which may connect -- and am assuming by my calculations that Daniel is the 5th generation of Michael (4) by Donald (3) of Angus & Dugal McComack in the lots 54-55 areas ... Have a definite fix in marriage and life by the 1880 census and living relations did the rest.

As I get the census read, I'll get back to you and Dave Hunter with furter transcribed PEI McCormack lineages.

The Mays are a Boston German immigrant family whom Daniel F McCormack married between 1870 and 1875 ..they arrived in 1848 and she has an 1851 City/State birth certificate.

Don't know yet whether he took a packet,or hitched a ride on a fishing sloop.

His 1880 census lisitng has him in Ward 24 .. her familys in Ward 19.
