There is a James McKie listed in the Kent County New Brunswick 1861 census, He is a lodger in the household of Zacharius Phiney, age 32 born in Scotland, Presbyterian a general labourer. There are no Tennants in that census but there was a Tennant married a Caie in Kent County.
