Jennifer:

I realize you have now found your family in St-Jean, Québec. Just thought I would add another point - before PEI was named Prince Edward Island when the English took over in 1760, it had been known as Ile-St-Jean (St. John's Island) named by the French explorer Jacques Cartier who first stopped there in 1534.

So many "St. John" place - Confusing, ain't it ?
