I have a record of two Anna Rebecca MacDonalds and one Rebecca A. MacDonald. Donald MacDonald of Glenaladale, son of Captain John, had a daughter, Anna Rebecca, who became an Ursuline nun. Donald's son, John Archibald, had a daughter, Anna Rebecca who is the one mentioned in Walter MacDonald's note. She married (1) Alain Chartier MacDonald and (2) Emmett Walsh, a Celtic scholar. Rebecca A. married William Wellner. I don't know who this Rebecca A. MacDonald is.

THE EXAMINER, THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 9, 1880
MARRIED: On the 9th inst., by the Rev. D. G. McDonald, Mr William Wellner to Miss Rebecca A. McDonald.

THE CHARLOTTETOWN HERALD, WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 5, 1894
MARRIED: At Tracadie Cross, by Rev. P. Curran, P.P., on Thursday, 29th Nov. 1894, Alain Chartier McDonald of Montreal, to Anna R. McDonald, eldest daughter of John Archibald McDonald, Esq., of Glenaladale.
