I'm not researching these families but did find some info for you.
James and Isabella are in the 1881 Springfield, Selkirk, Manitoba census. The LDS site just has them transcribed as James and Isabella D.., so just enter their first names and you should get them. With them are 3 daughters Mary Elizabeth, Romina, and Isabella (Isabella was born in Manitoba abt 1880).Mary Elizabeth was born in Carleton county 16 May 1874 and Romina 11 Feb 1878.There were male twins born 16 Aug 1876 (Joseph and Robert), but as they are not in the 1881 census, I guess they didn't make it.
James was born in Chidham, Sussex, England and is in the 1841 Chidham, Sussex census with his parents and siblings:
Parents Samuel/Daniel, aged 35 and a grocer (not born in Sussex) and Kitty, aged 30 and not born in Sussex, son Samuel, aged 11 and not born in Sussex (believe he was born 6 Aug 1830 and never married), William, aged 7 and born in Sussex, Mary, aged 21 months and born in Sussex, and James, aged 18 days and born in Sussex.Son Joseph who is 15 in the 1851 Canada West census must have been missed somehow in the 1841 Sussex census.
James Drew, on his marriage registration, ways he was born in Woolrich, but he is quite clearly born in Sussex in the 1841 census. He married Isabella Ann Reynolds on 4 August 1873 in Ottawa.
Hope this helps out,
Sue
