WATSON of Cardiff and Seymour
Is there anyone else that might be researching the WATSON family that lived in around Seymour (Northumberland East) and then Cardiff (Peterborough East) in the latter half of the 1800s?
My great grandfather William Henry Watson was born 1873, son of James WATSON & Priscilla TOMS. James was born in Northern Ireland and Priscilla was born 1854 in Michigan (daughter of Henry TOMS and Sarah SLADE).
Other children were: Sarah, Alexander, Susan, Oliver, James, Alberta (Bertha?), Ann, David, William John, Charles, and George.
In 1881 they were living in Cardiff and in 1901/1911 they were found in Hershel, Hastings.
Robert WATSON was born ca.1800 in Co. Tyrone, Northern Ireland, and married Isabel DAVIDSON, also of Ireland. I believe they had another son named William.
In 1871 they were all living in Seymour, Northumberland East.
I'd like to hear from anyone who might know anything else concerning any Watsons from the areas I mentioned.
