Thankyou William ,for all your work, I have not tried to use other spellings of the name Barger to search. However I would imagine it is difficult to read some of the writing. Josephs wife Hannah born 1836 died in 1924 in the Industrial Nursing home in Newmarket Ontario. I found this on a death certificate. I am guessing that a family member must have lived in Newmarket at this time. If I only could find which family member. I also have tried to find out when Joseph (senior) came to Canada with his parents or maybe he didn't and came with the in-laws possibly? He was born 1820 in Germany as per census so I have been trying to search ship records.
Again thank you for helping
Anna Barger
