This information will be at the Land Registry Office in Whitby -- and it will take a personal visit to get the info (or hiring someone to do it for you). You can try emailing or calling, but I have had no luck:

The 1877 Atlas shows a W. Palmer on Lots 22 and 23 in the Third Concession of Pickering. This is just south of the railway tracks on the east side of Frenchman's Bay, on the southeast corner of Liverpool Road and Bayly Road.
