Hi Carolyn,
Thanks ever so much for finding my family in Quebec. I've been searching for about fifteen years and getting nowhere. I was about to give up. Now, thanks to you, I find out I've been looking for the wrong people. I was going by the marriage certificate of Emile Dupuis (my grandfather) and Elizabeth McDermott (my grandmother). It seems that someone in the church where they married in Ottawa asked Emile- who was your father. He answered "Luc Dupuis". That person wrote down "Alec Dupuis". They then asked- who was your mother. Emile said "Philomene Alarie"- they then proceeded to write down "Philomene Adrien". How easily these mistakes happen. I have searched for Adriens all across the country. Thanks again for all your help. Margaret Pietro
