Lambert Cowell of Oxford County Ontario

I am trying to find information about my ggg grandfather Lambert Cowell, who was born between 1795 and 1800 and lived in Dereham Township, Oxford County.
He married Rody Long in Mohawk Village, Brant County, 12 January 1829. He appears in the Census for 1851, 1861 and 1871, each time in Dereham Township, Oxford County. According to the 1851 Census, he was widowed by then and his children were James, Ellen, Bowman, Lucy and Harvey. Since he does not appear in the 1881 Census, I assume he died between 1871 and 1881.
This is all I have been able to find out and any further information would be greatly appreciated.
