Found another Pigeon/poirier marriage, same parents as Rose. wonder if the Pigeons are related.
014729-99 Daniel POIRIER, 24, Labourer, Moose Creek, Moose Creek, s/o Alexander POIRIER & Julie BOYER; married Henriette PIGEON, 20, Williamstown, Williamstown, s/o Edward PIGEON & Sophia BERTRAND, witn Charles RYSON, Williamstown & Rose POIRIER, Moose Creek, 25 Apr 1899, Williamstown
YOURS
015091-99 Alexander PIGEON, 25, Farmer, Williamstown, Williamstown, s/o Hugh PIGEON & Mary LESPERANCE; married Rose POIRIER, 23, Kenyon, Roxborough, d/o Alexander POIRIER & Julia BOYER; witn Peter POIRIER & Mary DUPUIS, both Roxborough, 21 Aug 1899, Moose Creek
in the1881 census
I looked at the census photo and Hugh's names had been started to be written as Alex then crossed out, Hugh born 1850 (age 30 ) in this census but in 1891 age is 47 making him born 1844
SO....
wonder if this is him in1871 as place is right
