The Toronto Star's Pages of the Past did not pick up on Search an obituary for Wilson J. Wylie, but did for his wife Audrey:
Toronto Star, Tues., Nov. 15, 1983: WYLIE, Audrey Mary - In Hamilton, on Saturday, November 12, 1983, beloved wife of the late Wilson J. Wylie, loving and much loved mother of Frances Cameron, mother-in-law of John Cameron, grandmother of Richard, Michael, and James. Friends may call at the Morley Bedford Funeral Chapel, 159 Eglinton Ave. W. Toronto on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Service at St. James Bond United Church, 1066 Avenue Rd. (2 blocks N. of Eglinton Ave. W.) on Wednesday at 2 p.m. Interment Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
Because the name Cameron is found so much, you might see if the funeral home would give you the name, and particularly the location, for Contact person for Audrey's funeral arrangements. Perhaps they also cared for Wilson J. Wylie and might give you his death date.
