THOMAS URWIN THOMPSON born 1884 in Northumberland, England
Posted by: John Thompson (ID *****9345) Date: November 18, 2012 at 12:26:57

I am looking for any information on Thomas Urwin Thompson, my grandfather, who went to Canada in 1828 seeking work on what I have been told was a government farming scheme. He sailed on the SS Adriatic landing in Halifax,Nova Scotia on 25 Aug 1928. His intention was to find a secure job and then send for his family, Jane Thompson (nee Convey) and children to come over. There were a few letters and then no further news.
