My dear Kathleen,
BELIEVE you have found something HUGE here-----have been working on my tri-racial family line of WEEDEN,WHILDEN,
WEELDON/BROWN for 13yrs w/o making ANY CONNECTIONS and
am working w/33 various spellings of the surname!!
I am so grateful to YOU for taking the time to search for
this info--------how very kind.
Have a theory that my VA ancestors may have been among some
who migrated to NS and Canada in 1783 and have come across
the WEEDEN,WEADEN and WHEADON surnames for people of color,
and keep posting and praying, that some kin will respond.
This is the kind of info that keeps me inspired and diligent in my endeavor------------THANK YOU SO MUCH!
Warm regards,
carol wheeldin regards.
