close as I could find in 1901 Canadian census is

David Weeden b Feb 3 1840 (and Family) in Hants County NS



I checked all these spellings and he is the only David
willdon: Welden, Weldon, Welton, Welton(?), Welton(?), Welden, Weldon, Welton, weeden, wheldon, Welton(?), Welton

in 1891 he is under
WHEADON spelling
sons are Burton, Robert, Prior, Forrest


the Canadian census didnt ask your race
