Thanks for the information. I don't know for sure when Thomas King (Julia's husband) died but from what you have given me, it would appear that perhaps she remarried to David Cleveland. However, in the 1900 US Census, she arrived in the US and was living with her son, Martin Luther King in Millis, Massachusetts. She died 30 Apr 1912 and is buried in Millis, MA. Martin was born March 1864, in what was Lockhartville, Nova Scotia and arrived in the US in 1898 at the age of 34. Lockhartville no longer exists. I don't know the names of Julia's parents so I can't confirm them being John and Julia as listed on the 1875 marriage to Cleveland. Julia's maiden name was Firtzsmithes and was born in Germany.
