Hi Donna,et al;
I too, have been searching my Hanright liniage.My Grandmother Louisa Albion Hanright married Thomas Christian Mortensen and had four children in Amherst,NS. The youngest was my father. FYI as to how I fit in this picture. Your iformation clears up some mysteries as to who TRH"s parents were and where they came from. I had snippets but nothing solid. I knew about Jane Elisa Hanright marring Ben MacGlashing, but what happened to her brother Elijah Boysford Hanright? Seems there is no record of him.
At some point Thomas devoriced or abandoned Cassandra and fled to NZ and married a third and had a raft of kids there and Died in 1891. I have been in contact with some of our "step" cousins in NZ.
You have knocked down some bricks from my brickwall, thanks.
I would like to hear about you trip to QE,NB& NS and what you may have found. Hope you had pleasant and succssful one.
