If your Andersons were in Nova Scotia by 1750 they do not qualify as Loyalists. More likely part of the group called New England Planters that the British persuaded to come to Nova Scotia in quite large numbers. Actually when I think about it 1750 is really too early for the Planters
who were brought here to take up lands vacated by the Acadians who were expelled in 1755. Whatever brought him to Nova Scotia he can't be classified as a Loyalist
