"Lizzie" Price (b~1898) - Trinity Bay, Newfoundland
This is a cross-post (as suggested by GenForum) from the Price surname forum.
I'm trying to track down this woman, but I think she must have gone into witness protection.
She was married to David Garfield Collins (born 16 Jan 1894 in Shoal Bay, died between 1935-45 and went by Garfield Collins) of Wellington (now Dover), Bonavista Bay, Newfoundland, Canada. According to her death record, she died in childbirth at 23 years old on 13 Sep 1921. Her death certificate records her as Mrs. Garfield Collins (*sigh*) born in Lower Burnt Cove - a place that doesn't exist. (*double sigh*) The church which holds their marriage record and the baptismal record of their only surviving child (and responsible for using her husband's name on her death record) is not forthcoming.
Family information has her as "Lizzie" Price from Trinity Bay. A large number of Prices (originally from Hant's Harbour) lived in a place called Loreburn (notice the sound match?) around the time of her birth.
The couple Elizabeth/Eliza Prices I've found from that area and time period have turned out to have lived to be older, married to other men and have living children.
Any information would be appreciated. (Although, there is an entry in familysearch.org but it was made by someone working with the same information as I have.)
Thanks.
