Ridout (Rideout), Raines, Clark and Smith

Looking for ancestors of William Ridout b: 1795, Twillingate, his wife, Mary Raines b: abt 1799, Fogo, and:

of his wife's father (James Raines) b: unknown, probably 1770s and mother (Mary (?)) b: unknown, probably 1770s.

Also ancestors of Samuel Clark, b: unknown probably in the early 1800s, married to Fannie (?), birthdate unknown, again probably early 1800s. Samuel is the father of Mary Clarke, who married Frederick Rideout in 1859.

Frederick's marriage to Mary Clarke is shown in "Part 1: Twillingate Methodist Marriages (1853-1870): From Parish Records, Box 2, Panl." Witnesses at the wedding were Samuel Clark and George House, leaving one to believe there might be a connection to the House family too.

Lastly, ancestors of Laura Smith, b: 1868, Newfoundland, married George Whitfield Ridout (Rideout), b: 1870, Back Harbor. Father was Frederick Ridout b: 1830, Bonne Bay, son of the above William Ridout.
