Hi..
I'm seeking information on the family of my paternal grandfather..JOHN FRANCIS who may have been born in Gander Nfld..ca 1909..John Francis married Mary McDonald (D/O Morris McDonald & Bridget ??..b Aug 1916 Bishop Falls Nfld)
John and Mary had 11 children and lived in Buchans Nfld for several years..all the children were born in Buchan's Nfld including my Father FREDERICK CYRIL FRANCIS on Dec 26 1940..only the youngest daughter Patricia was not born in Buchans Nfld..she was born in Botwood Nfld in 1958..Shortly after Patricia was born John and Mary (McDonald) Francis relocated to Kitchener Ontario..where they stayed for many years..
John Francis died in Kitchener Ont in 1975 at the age of 66 and is buried there.
Mary (McDonald) Francis died in Kitchener Ont in 1995 and is buried in Buchans Nfld along side a daughter that had died in childhood.
Any information on JOHN FRANCIS, his parents..and or siblings would be greatly welcomed...
