BOYD / MCLARTY - St. Johns, Newfoundland
Posted by: John Pohlman (ID *****2244) Date: July 03, 2007 at 14:36:09

Seeking BOYD and MCLARTY information for James BOYD and Martha McLARTY, married at the Cathedral of St John the Baptist Anglican Church. James would be born circa 1798 and he & Martha had a daughter, Ann BOYD who was born circa 1823 in St. Johns. I do not know where James BOYD jr was born? His dad, James BOYD Sr. died at New Ross, Nova Scotia in 1836. His death was described that he "fell at wharf"? and he was a Revenue Officer.

Any BOYD help would be totally appreciated. I am assuming they were Scot or Scot-Irish back a ways.
Thanks,

John
