I am researching a King family also from Newfoundland. John King married Jane Diamond. They had a son Hugh who was born about 1886 who ended up in Chelsea Ma. It sounds as if Hugh and Diamond must be related, maybe brothers. Do you have any information on the parents of Diamond. It cannot be a coincidence that Hugh's mother's maiden name is Diamond.

I found in the 1920 census for Chelsea MA a William Diamond King living on the same street as Hugh and living with Wm D. was Selina listed as a cousin.

I'll be happy to exchange information with you and maybe we will find a whole family.

Lorene
