RED ISLAND, Green & Greene
Posted by: Ward Greene (ID *****9135) Date: March 11, 2007 at 00:09:58

Red Island and Point Verde can be seen from each other, about seven miles apart. In accumulating 125 pages on my Point Verde Greenes, I can't help wondering if there is any connection with the Greens and Greenes of Red Island. Does anyone know ? The earliest Red Island one I have found is about 1858,and the Greenes have been in Point Verde since the 1700s at least. Thanks.Ward.
