Hodder's from Creston and Burin

I'm looking for a possible connection between a James B. Hodder from maybe Creston, Newfoundland and a John Jacob Hooder aka J.J. Hodder from maybe Burin.

Also here is something I you find interesting. It's the Hodder Tugboat Company in Richmond, British Columbia. On their website they have a history of the Hodders. These Hodders (J.J. Hodder) came from Newfoundland according to the 1901 Canada Census.
