Still can't find my Indian(presumably Mi'Kmaq) great-grandmother,MARY ELLEN MILLER, who married my GGF,PATRICK JUDGE,about 1857.They lived at Isle au Valen, Placentia Bay,Newfoundland, and most Judges in Nfld. are descended from Patrick's parents. Mary Ellen could have been ELIN MILLER,probably(don't know) born about 1836. I have the name Miller from my deceased mother's handwritten notes. There is always a vague possibility it could have been something else. Her hometown was listed as Port Union,P/B., and I know of no such place in PB. I am guessing it was Port Royal, which did have Indian families, including Millers.Again I cannot find their descenddants so far(I live in Australia, which makes it difficult.)So if you know of the name or know of any Indian girl (of any name) married to a JUDGE man in Newfoundland about 1857,please contact
