My Drover descendants originally came from Upper Island Cove, Newfoundland. I don't have a Joseph Drover, who moved to the US in my tree so far. My great great grandfather was James Drover b 1835 Upper Island Cove and d before 1921 in Harbour Round, White Bay, Newfoundland. You can find some birth and marriage information for the Upper Island Cove area under Harbour Grace on this website http://ngb.chebucto.org/
Hope this helps and if I do find any connection I will let you know. Regards, Alice
